I think someone has a case of the munchies....

So in my last post I alluded to the fact that Erick is suffering from sympathy hunger pains....I can now confirm that yes, Erick is suffering from sympathy hunger pains - that, or he is in fact, pregnant.

Because we went to Joe's Crab Shack last Saturday for his "birthday dinner", I decided that for his birthday I would make a cake and he could have whatever he wanted for dinner. Well, Erick came home and told me that he had been thinking of Steak and Shake all day and that is what he wanted - so that's where we went. He also claimed that he didn't want to go anywhere too fancy because he was still full from lunch and a burger would just be "perfect." Trying to eat semi-healthy at a burger joint, I ordered a Turkey Club. "Not very hungry" Erick ordered a double stack Guacamole Burger with fries and then asked for a Guacamole Steak Dog on the side.

Before I finished even half of my club sandwich, Erick had already downed his burger and was working on the fries. As I began eating the second half of my sandwich, Erick devoured the Steak dog and was eyeing the rest of my french fries. As I finished my sandwich, Erick told me he was going to order another Guacamole Double Stack Burger... at this point, I told him he needed to stop - he had cake at home - he would be fine. Begrudgingly, he got up from the table and was drooling over the chocolate chip cookies at the counter as I led him out the door.

Incidentally, he did have his cake....just one piece, though he thought seriously about having seconds.
